AV & Media Production Resident

We're looking for an experienced creative who already works in audio, video, live streaming, photography, videography, editing, or media production and is looking for a place to continue building their practice.

This residency is an exchange of value. Residents have the opportunity to grow their own creative work while contributing to the technical and media needs of the Weirdoville ecosystem.

Required Experience

Applicants should have working knowledge of:

  • OBS Studio

  • Logic Pro X

  • CapCut

  • Content editing and post-production

  • Photography and/or videography

  • Live streaming workflows

Additional Paid Opportunities

Project-based opportunities may include:

  • Event photography

  • Event videography

  • Audio/visual support

  • Livestream production

  • Media production for resident businesses

  • Media production for clients booking the space

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate live streams using OBS.

  • Produce and edit content for social media, websites, and promotional campaigns.

  • Edit video using CapCut.

  • Edit and prepare audio using Logic Pro X.

  • Support photography and videography projects.

  • Maintain personal production equipment and properly care for shared equipment.

  • Report maintenance or repair needs for Weirdoville-owned equipment.

  • Assist with resident media projects and creative productions as needed.

Sales Ambassador

We're looking for outgoing, dependable individuals who enjoy connecting with people and representing independent brands through both in-person and digital sales experiences.

This opportunity includes selling at festivals, markets, pop-up events, community events, and live online shopping experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Represent participating brands professionally.

  • Welcome and assist customers in person and online.

  • Educate customers about products and brand stories.

  • Conduct live digital sales and livestream shopping events.

  • Complete sales using the point-of-sale system.

  • Assist with booth setup and breakdown.

  • Maintain clean, organized product displays.

  • Accurately track inventory and sales activity.
