Residency At Weirdoville
We're always interested in meeting creative people who are building something meaningful.
Weirdoville is a creative ecosystem for artists, makers, entrepreneurs, educators, and creative practitioners who are looking for more than just a place to work. We offer an environment where independent creative work, collaboration, and community come together to support long-term growth.
We intentionally grow our resident community one person at a time to ensure every new resident is a strong fit for both the space and the people who call it home.
The Resident Experience
Residency is designed for individuals who already have an established creative practice, business, or project and are looking for a place to continue building it.
Weirdoville is more than a workspace. It's a creative ecosystem where residents create, operate, collaborate, and grow alongside a community of artists, makers, and entrepreneurs.
As a resident, you'll have the opportunity to:
Operate from a dedicated creative space
Develop your creative practice, business, or project
Collaborate with fellow residents
Share your work through workshops, events, and exhibitions
Build meaningful relationships within the creative community
Contribute to the continued growth of Weirdoville

How Residency Works
Every residency begins with a conversation.
If there's a good mutual fit, we'll schedule a visit to the space, learn more about your work, discuss how you hope to use Weirdoville, and explore how your creative practice can contribute to the ecosystem.
Residency is collaborative. We look for relationships that benefit both the resident and the continued growth of Weirdoville.
Frequently Asked Questions

Can I keep my own business or clients?
Absolutely. Residents continue operating their own creative practices, businesses, and projects.
Is residency paid?
Residency is not employment. Each residency is structured individually and may involve shared resources, space access, collaborative opportunities, and agreed-upon contributions to the Weirdoville ecosystem.
Can I apply if I'm just getting started?
We're primarily looking for individuals who already have an active creative practice, business, or project. While experience levels vary, applicants should already be actively doing the work they hope to continue developing at Weirdoville.
